Be Aware

Meet us in Great Falls for Be Aware

October 27–29, 2026
Holiday Inn | Great Falls, Montana

Join credit union leaders and staff from across Montana for the Be Aware Conference. This engaging event will focus on the evolving threat of fraud and the tools, strategies, and awareness needed to help protect your credit union and your members. Gain valuable insights from industry experts, learn practical ways to recognize and prevent fraud, and connect with peers who are navigating the same challenges.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your fraud prevention efforts, stay ahead of emerging threats, or build valuable professional connections, the Be Aware Conference offers an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and prepare for what’s next.

We have a full agenda with a great lineup of speakers and events planned. We start on Tuesday afternoon with The Perfect Storm: Scams, Schemes, and Techniques with Patrick Dix from SHAZAM, where we’ll explore today’s growing fraud threats and address reputational risk and crisis communications, helping you communicate effectively and protect member trust when it matters most. Dinner is on your own on Tuesday night, following the reception being hosted and sponsored by Montana Credit Union. Check out this website to search for restaurant choices you might want to consider in Great Falls.

On Wednesday, we continue the fun with more education, networking opportunities, a sponsor social, and dinner, followed by a Music Bingo fundraiser for MCUCD. Music Bingo is a fun twist on traditional bingo where songs replace numbers. No singing required! Players receive bingo cards with song titles or artists instead of numbers. A host plays short clips of songs, and players mark them off if they’re on their card. The first person to complete a line, pattern, or full card shouts “Bingo!” and wins a prize. It’s a lively, interactive game combining music trivia with the excitement of bingo. Plan to participate in this fun event and support MCUCD with a $150 donation!

We wrap up on Thursday before noon with a panel of credit union professionals titled Train, Execute, and Report: Building a High-Performing Fraud Program.
