Have Your Story Told
We know that the continued existence of credit unions and the important work they do relies heavily on awareness in the communities they serve, so it is our mission to highlight the difference that you, our member credit unions, are making throughout Montana.
To do that effectively, we must stay up-to-date on the activities and initiatives at your credit union so we can tell your stories in the media, both close to home and around the country. There are a few ways you can help:
Submit a #CUDifference story for our President’s Report
Each week, we share at least one story of credit unions — and credit union professionals — exhibiting the credit union philosophy in their communities. We call it the #CUDifference. The President’s Report is an internal publication emailed to credit union professionals and industry partners every Friday morning. Additionally, these stories are shared across our five social media channels. To submit a story, email Michelle.
Add an Event to our Communications Calendar
We need your help — please add any events, activities, or initiatives of note to the MCU Communication Calendar so our PR team can work to gain recognition for your work within your community and beyond. Examples include member appreciation events or activities, member education workshops or presentations, engagement in community events, annual meetings, etc. Here’s a quick “how-to. The Communication Calendar is set up by chapter (links below). Here is a map of Montana if you’re not sure which chapter you belong to.

Why This is Important
As you know, sharing information about the #CUDifference is important to ensure a strong credit union movement in the future, so with your help to keep us informed of what’s happening across the state, we can be more proactive in raising consumer awareness and belief in credit unions as the best option in financial services.
