CEO/MANAGER — GREAT FALLS, MT

September 1 — Due to an upcoming retirement, Family First Federal Credit Union is seeking a new President/CEO for its nearly $20 million organization. The successful candidate needs to be passionate about helping those in our community access affordable products and services to improve their financial future, be a leader who can work with and motivate a team of four employees, be a manager of multiple projects and deadlines, be diligent in working with the board of directors to implement our strategic plan, be willing to personally do the job in every aspect of the credit union’s operations, and be open to continuing to learn and build their knowledge of the credit union industry. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all credit union activities and operations, in accordance with the credit union’s plans, policies, directives, and activities as established by the board of directors. CORE SYSTEM SPECIALIST — BILLINGS, MT

September 29Billings Federal Credit Union is looking for a Core System Specialist. The person in this position will be responsible for investigating the credit union’s core processing system, Symitar/Quest, identifying options for improving the system, and bridging the needs of the business with the use of technology. They will serve as a liaison among internal team members, Member Driven Technologies (MDT), and Jack Henry & Associates and need an understanding of the structure, policies, and operations of the organization in order to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.  The core system specialist will assist with project management, functional design, testing, and training to successfully complete initiatives and projects. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related field (or the equivalent combination of education and experience) is required as is a minimum of three years of progressive project management experience. Intermediate experience with employee training and three to five years of progressive experience at a financial institution is preferred. SUPPORT CENTER SUPERVISOR — GREAT FALLS, MT

September 27Montana Credit Union is looking for a Support Center Supervisor. The person in this position is responsible for leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing the support center staff as they handle member needs and transactions, resolve escalated member problems, and help with complex member questions. In addition to managing the call center, the Support Center Supervisor will oversee a variety of back-office functions and the credit union’s plastic card program. Key traits to succeed in this position include exemplary leadership skills, professionalism and integrity, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and adherence to strict confidentiality are all key traits required to succeed in this position. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of core computer programs and an aptitude for working with technology as well as the ability to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise. Three to five years of experience in a call center/support center at a financial institution is preferred, as is two years of supervisory experience. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.


ACCOUNTING MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

September 5 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position oversees the day-to-day activities of the credit union’s accounting department and is responsible for a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and forecasting all while meeting the department’s deadlines. They manage a team of accountants — allocating and managing work to achieve expected outcomes, developing team member capabilities, and recognizing excellent contributions to the credit union and its membership. They also help the VP/Controller to successfully complete and meet regulatory requirements, tax reporting and filing requirements, and internal and external audit activities.


BUSINESS LOAN OFFICER — BUTTE, BOZEMAN, GREAT FALLS or HELENA, MT

August 29 Clearwater Credit Union is now accepting applications for a full-time Business Lender in the Butte, Bozeman, Great Falls, or Helena area. The person in this position is responsible for assisting business members with their commercial lending needs, being a resource of information for business members, and building stronger relationships in the business community. AG/COMMERCIAL LENDING MANAGER — SIDNEY, MT

August 28 Richland Federal Credit Union, is currently seeking an Ag/Commercial Lending Manager. The person in this position is responsible for loan portfolio growth and directing the activities of the credit union’s ag/commercial loan officers. They will oversee and monitor the Ag/Commercial loan portfolio and ensure that all ag/commercial lending activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and are delivered professionally and efficiently.  They will also train, coordinate, supervise, and appraise the ag/commercial loan officers. These responsibilities require frequent interaction with the credit union’s CEO, retail lending manager, and regional managers. This position is open due to a retirement.

ACCOUNTING CLERK — ANACONDA, MT

August 26 Southwest MT Community Federal Credit Union, with branches in Anaconda and Butte, is looking for a full-time Accounting Clerk. The person in this position will support the financial management and operations of the credit union by maintaining accounting records and reports. This is an accounting position requiring sound knowledge of accounts payable processing, general ledger transactions, balancing, and reconciliations. PRINCIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR  — KALISPELL, MT

August 26 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Principal Infrastructure Administrator for its Kalispell Operations Center. This position supports all systems and infrastructure and will require keen attention to detail, initiative, and a desire for planning, project documentation, and team collaboration. They will be responsible for performing complex project planning and maintenance tasks independently and provide Tier 3 support to resolve issues that are assigned to the IT project engineering team. Being able to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to new ideas and new methodologies is a must.  This position is expected to participate in the critical system support structure with other IT departments and function with a very high degree of autonomy and self-direction once they are assigned work.


COLLECTION SUPERVISOR — GREAT FALLS, MT

August 25 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union is currently looking for a full-time Collection Supervisor for one of its branches in Montana. The person in this position will direct, oversee, and supervise all aspects of the credit union’s collection activities, including collections staff, programs, bankruptcy process and laws, and monthly reporting. They will also oversee collection efforts, delinquency resolutions, and recovery efforts like collateral protection insurance, mortgage delinquency, mortgage hazard insurance, and property tax assignments. They will be responsible for preparing and overseeing collection policies and procedures relative to compliance regulation, keeping management informed, and helping to maintain the safety and soundness of the credit union.
