SVP/CHEIF LENDING OFFICER — WHITEFISH, MT

September 9 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Senior Vice President / Chief Lending Officer. The person in this position is responsible for coordinating external loan audits, internal and external loan review programs, annual reviews by credit department personnel, and collateral documentation review systems. They are also in charge of the development and monitoring of the credit union’s risk-grading system, monitoring criticized asset levels through action plan implementation activities, and managing loan delinquencies, non-accruals, OREO, and foreclosure actions. They report to the credit union’s President/CEO.


HEAD TELLER — KALISPELL, MT

September 9 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Head Teller for its Central Kalispell branch. The person in this position maintains departmental efficiency through appropriate teller training, assistance, and supervision. They teach and model the credit union’s “members first” philosophy to all teller staff. They also resolve or, when possible, head off problems and conflicts involving members and staff. The head teller is expected to stay abreast of (and train all Tellers on) all BSA regulations, general NCUA guidelines, fraud-related trends, and Whitefish CU’s policies and procedures.


CONSTRUCTION LOAN ASST — KALISPELL, MT

September 9 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Construction Loan Assistant for its South Kalispell branch. Under direct supervision, the person in this position assists the credit union’s construction loan originators with a variety of tasks to ensure smooth and profitable operations of origination and maintenance of construction loans. They gather all types of financial and other information from members and outside agencies for analysis and underwriting of consumer loans.


LOAN OFFICER — GREAT FALLS, MT

August 30 1st Liberty FCU is actively searching for a full-time Loan Officer for its RH Scott Branch located just outside the front gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base. The person in this position assists members with their accounts and loan needs. A business degree or two years of lending or business is required as are excellent listening and written/verbal communication skills and a working knowledge of lending practices and regulations. BUSINESS LOAN OFFICER — BUTTE, BOZEMAN, or HELENA, MT

August 30 Clearwater Credit Union is currently accepting applications for a Business Loan Officer in Butte, Bozeman, or Helena, Montana (must be able to work in Butte at least 50% of the time). The person in this position is responsible for assisting business members with their commercial lending needs, being a resource of information for business members, and building stronger relationships in the business community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to three years of business lending experience and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration or equivalent work experience. They will also have excellent computer skills and strong skills in communication, time management, and problem-solving. COMMERCIAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST — KALISPELL, MT

August 27 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Commercial Quality Assurance Specialist for its Kalispell Operations Center. This individual assists and supports the commercial loan servicing manager with all facets of new commercial loans, paid-off commercial loans, commercial loan purchasing and commercial loan refinancing, and assists consumer and real estate quality assurance specialists when and as needed.


CONSUMER LOAN SERVICING MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

August 27 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Consumer Loan Servicing Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. This individual evaluates and directs assigned staff members of the credit administration department and works with all levels of Whitefish Credit Union employees, loan officers, and senior management to ensure policies and procedures are met while maintaining quality, efficient, working relationships.


SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST (COLLECTIONS) – BILLINGS, MT

August 25 – At Billings Federal Credit Union our Solutions Specialists consistently provide an atmosphere of high-quality member service. Solutions Specialists optimize collections on accounts while balancing members’ financial abilities with the overall business interests of the credit union. Our Solutions Specialists interact with members confidently, with compassion and humility. The SUCCESSFUL candidate for this position has demonstrated success in a position involving customer service, AR, problem resolution and clerical office work; finds satisfaction in helping people achieve financial well-being; commits to forwarding the credit union’s mission of delivering sound financial solutions; is consistently mindful of compliance with regulations, policies and procedures; will be an advocate for the credit union and our members.

Experience in a professional office setting involving accounts receivable, collections, customer service and extensive public contact – required. College degree or equivalent combination of college and work experience – preferred. Experience in a Financial Institution – highly preferred.

TELLER — ANACONDA, MT

August 12 Southwest MT Community Federal Credit Union is accepting applications for a Teller I for the credit union’s branch in Anaconda. Tellers meet the needs of members by providing quality service. They perform transactional duties – receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy and maintaining accurate records. They provide cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures along with presenting and explaining credit union products and services to members. UNDERWRITER — GREAT FALLS, MT

August 6 Embark Credit Union is accepting applications for an Underwriter. This individual makes recommendations for approval or denial of applications for portfolio-held first and second mortgages and consumer loans. They use knowledge and judgment to make underwriting decisions based on the creditworthiness and risk of the borrower and evaluate collateral and the borrower’s ability to repay. In cases of denial, the underwriter suggests alternative loan options or steps that can be taken for future approvals. A high school diploma or its equivalent is required (bachelor’s degree preferred) as is at least two years of consumer and/or real estate lending-related experience. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills and knowledge of office procedures, computers, office equipment, and basic office software such as Word and Excel.

COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER — KALISPELL, MT

The person in this position will successfully obtain, manage, and build profitable account relationships with the majority of clients being complex business members. They will interact with business owners on a daily basis and proactively identify financial products that may benefit their businesses. The commercial loan officer will ensures the overall success and growth of an assigned portfolio by expanding relationships of existing members and through the acquisition of new members.


REAL ESTATE LOAN PROCESSOR — MISSOULA, MT

June 25 Clearwater Credit Union has a full-time opening for a Real Estate Loan Processor. The person in this position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by the credit union’s real estate lending officers. A successful applicant must be organized, accurate, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills along with a commitment to recognizing needs and creating solutions. They much have knowledge of credit union products, services, and procedures; exceptional internal and external member service and telephone etiquette; the ability to make sound decisions and work independently; and appreciation for working in a team-oriented environment. SR COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER — BILLINGS, MT

June 21 Altana Federal Credit Union has a full-time Senior Commercial Loan Officer position available at its Billings West End location. This position requires 5+ years of business lending experience with knowledge of SBA products and services. The credit union is looking for someone who is knowledgeable and can stay up to date on regulations, compliance, policies, and procedures, along with the ability to analyze credit, identify strengths and weaknesses, and make loan decisions within lending limits. This position requires participating in the management of the loan portfolio and monitoring for credit quality. Altana is looking for someone who will develop new business relationships through community involvement and outside activities in addition to working with other departments to maintain and deepen relationships with existing members. The successful candidate will be able to coach and mentor business lending team members.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

June 11 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this role oversees the day-to-day activities of the accounting department and is responsible for meeting the department’s deadlines along with a multitude of accounting activities like general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and forecasting. They will manage a team of accountants — allocating and managing work to achieve expected outcomes, developing team member capabilities, and recognizing excellent contributions to the credit union and its membership. They will also help the VP/Controller successfully complete and meet regulatory and tax reporting and filing requirements and assist with internal and external audit activities.
