INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST — KALISPELL, MT

January 25 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Information Security Analyst for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position develops and manages the overall security program for the credit union, working with the existing Information Security team to ensure compliance with credit union security policies as well as state and federal examinations. They manage security software, patching, and appliances; keep up to date and stay proactive with current threats; update policies and procedures; and maintain physical security components.


MORTGAGE LOAN SERVICING OFFICER — KALISPELL, MT

January 10 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Mortage Loan Servicing Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position evaluates and directs assigned staff members of the Credit Admin Department.  They work with all levels of credit union employees, loan officers, and senior management to make sure that credit union policies and procedures are met while maintaining quality, efficient, working relationships.


SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR — MISSOULA, MT

January 9 – Clearwater Credit Union is now accepting applications for a Systems Administrator.  This person in this role is responsible for providing server, network, and system management to ensure the uptime, performance, and security for all users at the credit union. Administrators handle the set-up and installation of systems as well as troubleshooting and the evaluation of systems performance and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a related field and 3-5 years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. They must also have a demonstrated ability to implement people, time, project, and organizational management practices. FINANCIAL SERVICE REP — GREAT FALLS, MT

December 14 Horizon Credit Union is now accepting applications for a Financial Service Representative. This person in this position serves as liaison between the member and the credit union. Lead responsibility includes the proactive fulfillment of consumer lending needs (loan processing, closing and disbursal), as well as other products and services whether in person, by phone, or electronically. They will open various account types for members, resolve issues, cross-sell value-added services, interview, and professionally handle the member’s daily needs. They may also lead the activities of tellers or member service representatives. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER — HELENA, MT

December 15 Intrepid Credit Union is accepting applications for its Chief Financial Officer. BRANCH MANAGER — GREAT FALLS, MT

OPERATIONS MANAGER — BILLINGS, MT

December 8 Rimrock Credit Union is seeking a full-time Operations Manager. The person hired for this position will help members meet their financial needs and will be responsible for providing both front- and back-end operations within the credit union’s established policies and procedures. They will provide office support to both the chief executive officer and the chief loan officer by monitoring administrative projects and implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies. In addition, this employee will serve as the credit union’s compliance and BSA officer. The person in this position must have strong reporting, writing, research, analysis, and supply & inventory control skills and be able to use Microsoft Office. They should also be able to become quickly familiar with the credit union’s software and marketing strategies with some on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or finance (or equivalent work experience) along with 1 to 3 years of experience in the credit union or banking industry. NETWORK ENGINEER — KALISPELL, MT

December 6 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Network Engineer for its Kalispell Operations Center. The Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring the reliability, performance, and security of WCU’s data communication systems while ensuring its capabilities meet the credit union’s needs and standards.


PRESIDENT/CEO — BRITTON, SD

December 2 Norstar Federal Credit Union in Britton, South Dakota is searching for its next President/CEO. The board is looking for a seasoned executive who can build on the vision of the credit union and assist in growing the organization. In collaboration with the board of directors, this executive will be responsible for achieving the long and short-term goals and objectives as established in the strategic plan and maintaining the stability and health of the credit union. The ideal candidate will be a team leader, humble, well-rounded, strategic, and an excellent communicator and able to lead a team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. A minimum of five years of executive experience with a financial institution is preferred.


MICROSOFT SYSTEMS ENGINEER 1 — GREAT FALLS, MT

September 14 Member Driven Technologies (MDT) is currently seeking a Microsoft Systems Engineer I o work in its Great Falls office. The person in this position is responsible for maintaining smooth operations of all of MDT’s systems and applications. They provide technical support to users and clients as needed, diagnose and resolve systems and application problems, and monitor system security, backup, and overall system protection. They also evaluate, recommend, and implement system software and hardware and assist in the development of IT strategies and policies. VP OF LENDING AND MEMBER SERVICES — GREAT FALLS, MT

August 25 Montana Credit Union is currently seeking a VP of Lending and Member Services, to serve on its executive leadership team. The person in this position is involved in making organizational and strategic decisions and is responsible for directing and monitoring day-to-day member services, lending, secondary market real estate, and collection operations while ensuring that established goals and objectives are met. They participate in establishing a budget of operations, including incentive plans, and ensure the team functions within budget and its goals are met. They will maintain current knowledge on compliance issues and formulate or recommend changes in operating procedures and policies accordingly along with leading in the development of new products and services. They will also actively participate in the Asset/Liability Committee to make sure the credit union maintains adequate levels of capital, liquidity, and pricing spreads. They will oversee and maintain loan analytics software and are responsible for the oversight of the credit union’s indirect lending program. BRANCH SUPERVISOR — SHELBY and CUT BANK, MT

August 25 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union is currently looking for two Branch Supervisors — one for its branch in Shelby, Montana, and one for its branch in Cut Bank, Montana. The people in these positions will be responsible for supervising and directing the operations of a small branch for a full-service credit union.  These duties include, but are not limited to overseeing operational, accounting, marketing, and loan processes. They will be responsible for loan underwriting and lending decisions, building deposits and loan relationships, and promoting sales of products/services along with retaining and building relationships with members. They will also recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor, and supervise support staff as well as monitor the branch facility and its equipment needs. The ideal branch supervisor candidate must be service-oriented and possess strong analytical, computer, communications, planning, and organizational skills.
