December 17 SEG Federal Credit Union, a growing $22 million credit union located in beautiful Laurel, Montana, is seeking an individual to succeed their retiring President/CEO. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction in all areas of credit union operations and assist the board in setting the long-term strategic vision for the credit union. This individual must have a proven track record of community service, personnel management, communications, problem-solving, organizational skills, and have a high degree of integrity. Preference will be given to candidates with credit union experience, including progressive management and a college degree.

PROJECT MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

January 11 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Project Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position leads and manages strategic and technical projects under the guidance of the WCU Steering Committee. They develop full-scale project plans, build and support teams with the needed expertise and resources, and manage complex, cross-functional projects to an on-budget and timely completion. They are responsible for the overall success of the project and act as a lead to the credit union’s project management team.


MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE — EUREKA & KALISPEL, MT

January 12 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for two full-time Member Services Representatives, one for its Eureka branch and one for its Kalispell branch. MSRs serve as a professional, knowledgeable and friendly “face” and “voice” of Whitefish Credit Union’s member service and lending.  They open new member accounts, process loan requests from members for personal lines and loans, and provide member services such as notary, payment processing, research, etc.


NETWORK ENGINEER — KALISPELL, MT

January 7 Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Network Engineer for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position is responsible for implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring the reliability, performance, and security of WCU’s data communication systems while ensuring its capabilities meet the credit union’s needs and standards. They report to the infrastructure manager.


LENDING SPECIALIST — HELENA, MT

January 4 Intrepid Credit Union is looking for a Lending Specialist II. As a Lending Specialist II in the credit union’s consumer lending area, you will spend your days helping members achieve their financial goals. You will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of lending products and services to our members. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ANALYST  — GREAT FALLS, MT

January 3 Member Driven Technologies (MDT) is currently seeking a Professional Services Analyst. MDT’s professional services analysts work with clients to deliver custom programming to meet their needs. The person in this position participates in strategic projects, such as core conversions, as well as corporate initiatives. They serve as a point of contact for clients regarding product/service delivery and overall customer service satisfaction along with working closely with other departments to ensure that the services delivered are meeting client expectations and within scheduled deadlines. They are responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the real needs of project stakeholders, including clients and internal employees and serve as the conduit between the customers and technical staff. They also works with the other departments to promote high-quality product development and make sure that user acceptance testing and procedural documentation are completed for new projects and existing system development. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirement specifications and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements.

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST — GREAT FALLS, MT

December 23 – Are you passionate about numbers and extremely detail-oriented? Montana Credit Union is growing and is adding an Accounting Specialist to its finance department. They are looking for someone that loves a good spreadsheet and enjoys preparing monthly reports, and who will also perform daily and monthly balancing and reconciliations of cash, PTM/ATM’s, general ledger accounts, and investment/loan accounts. In addition to analyzing financial data, this person will perform Accounts Payable (AP) duties, and assist with quarterly call report preparation, annual financial audit and regulatory exams, annual budget process, and tax and 1099 preparation. Experience in a financial institution is preferred, as well as an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. In lieu of a degree, 3+ years’ accounting experience will be considered.

VP OF LENDING — LEWISTON, ID

December 10 Lewis Clark Credit Union is currently in search of a lending executive to serve as their Vice President of Lending. Reporting directly to the President/CEO this individual will be charged with analyzing the market and developing strategy, products, and services to grow loan volume. This individual will oversee consumer, indirect, real estate, and commercial lending. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing and monitoring underwriting criteria, loan production, loan processing, and vendor management. Five plus years of experience leading lending operations for a financial institution is required. LOAN OFFICER — ANACONDA and BUTTE, MT

December 10 Southwest MT Community Federal Credit Union is accepting applications for two Loan Officers  — one working in Anaconda and one in Butte. The people in these positions is responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of routine consumer, residential, equipment, commercial building, and business loans in compliance with the credit union’s lending policies and procedures. They develop relationships with members and promote business for the credit union by maintaining good customer relations and referring members to appropriate staff for new services. ACCOUNTING CLERK — ANACONDA, MT

December 10 Southwest MT Community Federal Credit Union is accepting applications for an Accounting Clerk to work at the credit union’s branch in Anaconda.  This person in this position will support the credit union’s financial management and operations through the maintenance of accounting records and reports. They will process a variety of general ledger entries and perform various support functions that are necessary to the accounting and record-keeping functions of the credit union. This is an accounting position and requires sound knowledge of accounts payable processing, general ledger transactions, balancing, and reconciliations. AVP CONSUMER LENDING — HELENA, MT

November 18 Intrepid Credit Union is working to recruit a full-time AVP Consumer Lending. IT SPECIALIST — WHITEFISH, MT

October 29 Park Side Credit Union is currently looking for a full-time IT Specialist for its Whitefish branch. The person in this position is responsible for repairing, maintaining, upgrading, and installing computers and related peripheral equipment. The IT Specialist performs diagnostic testing to determine the source of problems and makes necessary repairs while also assisting the VP of IT and Security in researching, planning, and implementing new technologies to improve member access and staff efficiency. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of techniques, tools, and processes involved in designing technical plans, models. BRANCH MANAGER — MISSOULA, MT

October 15 Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a full time Branch Manager. This role is responsible for directing and administering the consumer lending efforts of the retail branch, building relationships within the community, and being a source of information for employees and members. The position will also involve working with the branch ABM to help administer branch operational efforts. MORTGAGE SERVICES OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR — HELENA, MT

September 30 – The Housing Division of the Montana Dept. of Commerce is currently accepting applications for a Mortgage Services Daily Operations Supervisor. The person in this position develops and administers the mortgage loan servicing processes for the Housing Division, including complex accounting functions for all single-family programs to ensure accountability and efficient processing in compliance with state and federal regulations. They manage the day-to-day activities of the mortgage servicing area and are responsible for resolving complex fiscal issues and managing specialized accounting applications and systems. The person in this position needs to have advanced knowledge of the concepts and theories of accounting, generally accepted accounting principles, and state accounting procedures and policies.
