CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER — ANACONDA, MT

November 27Southwest MT Community Federal Credit Union is now accepting applications for a Chief Financial Officer. The person in this position serves as the credit union’s lead financial executive — overseeing all financial and accounting operations and supervising the accounting department. As part of the executive and ALCO teams, the CFO leads in the formulation and execution of the credit union’s overall strategic business plans and goals. They develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, practices, and internal controls and make sure that the credit union adheres to GAAP as well as all related tax and regulatory laws, rules, and regulations and that the financial position of the credit union is adequately and accurately reflected at all times.  Read the full description for more information on the position’s essential duties and responsibilities.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field along with 10 years of banking or credit union experience in a directly related area with at least five years at a management level. DIGITAL CONTENT SPECIALIST — MISSOULA, MT

November 20Clearwater Credit Union is now accepting applications for a full-time Digital Content Specialist in Missoula. The person in this position is vital to amplifying Clearwater’s brand story in all digital channels to foster strong community relations, attract new members, deepen existing member relationships, and maintain the credit union’s reputation as a loved and trusted brand. VP OF LENDING — GREAT FALLS, MT

November 15 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union is actively searching for a Vice President of Lending, a new addition to its senior management team. The person in this position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all of 1st Liberty’s lending functions and all aspects of collections. They will develop, recommend, implement, and administer credit union-wide lending and collection policies, procedures, and business goals. They will also supervise all lending and collection personnel and assist with regulatory agencies and other financial organizations. They will also help implement the credit union’s budgeting and forecasting model. This position requires technical knowledge normally acquired through completion of a college-level program in business administration, finance, or a related area along with 5-10 years of progressive responsibility in management positions within a financial institution. It also requires a high level of interpersonal communication skills, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of credit union management philosophy and guidelines. CORE SYSTEM SPECIALIST — BILLINGS, MT

October 9Billings Federal Credit Union is looking for a Core System Specialist. The person in this position will be responsible for investigating the credit union’s core processing system, Symitar/Quest, identifying options for improving the system, and bridging the needs of the business with the use of technology. They will serve as a liaison among internal team members, Member Driven Technologies (MDT), and Jack Henry & Associates and need an understanding of the structure, policies, and operations of the organization in order to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.  The core system specialist will assist with project management, functional design, testing, and training to successfully complete initiatives and projects. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related field (or the equivalent combination of education and experience) is required as is a minimum of three years of progressive project management experience. Intermediate experience with employee training and three to five years of progressive experience at a financial institution is preferred.
