ACCOUNTING MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

June 11 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this role oversees the day-to-day activities of the accounting department and is responsible for meeting the department’s deadlines along with a multitude of accounting activities like general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and forecasting. They will manage a team of accountants — allocating and managing work to achieve expected outcomes, developing team member capabilities, and recognizing excellent contributions to the credit union and its membership. They will also help the VP/Controller successfully complete and meet regulatory and tax reporting and filing requirements and assist with internal and external audit activities.


COMPLIANCE OFFICER & BSA OFFICER — KALISPELL, MT

June 11 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Compliance & BSA Officer for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this role is responsible for writing, reviewing, updating, maintaining, and disseminating Whitefish Credit Union policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all related laws and regulations applicable to the credit union. They are responsible for executing the investigations for all assigned aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance functions.


MORTGAGE LOAN ASSISTANT — KALISPELL, MT

June 11 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Mortgage Loan Assistant for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position will assist Mortgage Loan Originators with a variety of tasks in order to make sure their operations are smooth and profitable. They will gather all types of financial and other information from members and outside agencies for analysis and underwriting of consumer loans.


MEMBER SERVICES REP/DIGITAL SERVICES BRANCH — KALISPELL, MT

June 11 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Member Services Representative for its Digital Services Branch located in the credit union’s Operations Center in Kalispell. The person in this position serves as a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly “face” and “voice” of Whitefish Credit Union’s member service and lending. They direct members to the appropriate personnel and/or departments as needed, open new member accounts, and process loan requests from members for personal lines and loans. This individual may also provide member services such as notary, payment processing, research, etc.


COMMERCIAL LOAN MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

June 4 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Commercial Loan Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position is responsible for the management and oversight of the commercial lending department and, in that role, directs and evaluates lenders, analysts, and assistant(s). They originate and oversee the origination of commercial loans and manage and maintain commercial loan relationships with members. They also maintain the alignment of the credit union’s commercial Lending practices with larger organizational strategies and goals, while simultaneously ensuring adherence to state and federally mandated regulations.


APPRAISAL REVIEW SPECIALIST — KALISPELL, MT

June 4 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Appraisal Review Specialist for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position is responsible for accurately assessing appraisals for quality and adherence to Whitefish Credit Union and NCUA policies and procedures. They review appraisals and insuring compliance as well as communicate with appraisers, realtors, and internal staff including loan officers. They also perform in-house evaluations.


ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

May 28 – Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Assistant Branch Manager for its branch in Kalispell. Responsibilities include maintaining and overseeing the integrity of assigned branch’s operations practices; developing new deposit and loan business; providing a superior level of member relations and promoting the sales and service culture through coaching, guiding, and motivating staff; and achieving individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships. The person in this position provides leadership, training, and supervision and knows how to delegate. They participate in community affairs in order to increase the credit union’s visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities.


SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR — MISSOULA, MT

April 28 Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a full-time Systems Administrator. CONSUMER LOAN OFFICER — BOZEMAN, MT

April 28 Clearwater Credit Union is currently accepting applications for a full-time Consumer Loan Officer in Bozeman, Montana. This individual will be part of the Indirects Lending team and will help the Credit Union establish a presence and relationships within our newly added membership area, providing loans and being a resource of information for members. A successful applicant must be goal-oriented, have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, commitment to recognizing needs and creating solutions, knowledge of credit union philosophy, products, services, and procedures. DEALER CENTER/INDIRECT LOAN OFFICER — GREAT FALLS, MT

April 26 Montana Credit Union currently has an opening for a Dealer Center/Indirect Loan Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional member service and will display a positive and professional attitude. They are looking for someone who takes personal initiative, is a team player, and will embrace the Credit Union’s philosophy. The job responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to) developing and maintaining positive relationships with auto dealers, members, and coworkers; underwriting loan applications; and reviewing purchase orders. The person in this position will also analyze personal and financial data, including calculating debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios, scrutinizing credit reports, and generating documentation to support credit decisions. The Indirect Loan Officer must maintain a quality loan portfolio, adhere to federal and state regulations, and follow credit union policies and procedures. Interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a strong commitment to quality customer service. This is a full-time position working Tuesday-Saturday. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and two years of experience in loan processing and underwriting is preferred.  The ideal candidate will continuously strive to improve service levels to meet or exceed the credit union’s visions and goals; function effectively in a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the credit union; and possess the ability to handle stress in a high-volume and fast-paced atmosphere.

MARKETING ASSISTANT — GREAT FALLS, MT

April 23 Embark Credit Union is the oldest credit union in Great Falls and takes great pride in serving its members and community. They are seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant. The successful candidate will oversee the creation, production, and implementation of advertising and marketing for the credit union. TELLER MANAGER — ANACONDA, MT

April 6 Southwest Montana Community FCU (SWMCFCU) is looking to fill an open position for Teller Manager. This position plays an integral role at SWMCFCU as a supervisor and is responsible for the dynamic leadership and coaching of the team of tellers working in the credit union’s Anaconda and Butte offices. The individual in this position is responsible for the development of the teller team along with solving escalated member problems, complex questions, or procedure related matters. They will also be responsible for the team’s ability to build and strengthen SWMCFCU’s relationship with members at the teller line. The teller manager directs and evaluates staff performance, coordinates schedules to ensure adequate staff coverage at each branch, and is a direct contributor to the initial training of all new teller staff. Candidates for this position need a through knowledge of general compliance issues, regulatory and security procedures for teller functions, and the ability to make sure that all teller operations are conducted in accordance with established credit union policies, guidelines and audit standards. In addition, they will perform all the primary duties of a teller as needed, and act as a co-administrator of SWMCFCU’s IRA program. TELLER — BUTTE, MT

April 6 Southwest Montana Community FCU (SWMCFCU) is currently looking for a Teller 1 to work in its Butte branch. The primary responsibility of the person in this position will be to accurately, promptly, and professionally assist members with their financial transactions while following the credit union’s protocols. A teller’s responsibilities will also include welcoming members and providing routine information about the services offered to help members reach their financial goals. SWMCFCU’s teller staff often establishes the first impression a member or guest has of the credit union and acts as a referral agent, pointing members to appropriate individuals for specific advice, information, or assistance.

ACCOUNTING ANALYST — HELENA, MT

March 16 Intrepid Credit Union is looking for an Accounting Analyst. This Helena-based position is responsible for performing a variety of day-to-day technical and analytical financial and accounting functions. The individual in this position is responsible for monitoring and updating accounting records, general ledger, and subsidiary accounts and calculating expenditures, receipts, accounts payable/receivable, and profit and loss. They apply the principles of accounting to prepare various reports, budgets, reconciliations, statistical reports, and other auditable financial support data in a timely and accurate manner.


VP OF ACCOUNTING — HELENA, MT

March 15 Intrepid Credit Union is looking for a VP of Accounting. This Helena-based position is key within Intrepid and is responsible for ensuring that the credit union’s financial records are properly accounted for and display integrity, consistency, and follow Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and regulatory rules and regulations. The person in this position also performs financial analyses for management, the board of directors, and outside agencies.  They will supervise the other staff in the accounting department and serve as a leader, coach, and supervisor for them. CONSUMER LENDING MANAGER — HELENA, MT

March 2 Intrepid Credit Union is looking for a Consumer Lending Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the member-facing consumer loan department. The person in this position is responsible for the development, coordination of, and participation in appropriate training and coaching activities for staff. They are also responsible for monitoring and analyzing economic conditions affecting the department and recommending appropriate action; ensuring compliance with state and federal lending laws; and making sure that consumer lending policies and procedures best serve the credit union and its members.
