Time to Chime In

It’s Engagement Survey Time

Three years ago, as part of our strategic planning process here at Montana’s Credit Unions (MCU), we developed an annual engagement survey to gather information about how our member credit unions view and use our core programs and services.
The first year, 2024, we surveyed credit union staff and learned a lot about what they found important, how satisfied they were with the work we do, and their level of engagement. The insights we gained helped us refine and target our work in the areas staff found important — we deepened our advocacy champion program, launched and enhanced leadership programs, and added communities and connection. And, those changes have paid off in increased credit union employee engagement.
But, we were missing an important group — credit union volunteers.
You, after all, are central to the operation of your credit union and important members of our credit union community. So, in 2025, we decided to also survey credit union board and supervisory committee members. And, we’re surveying you again this year because we want to know how you engage with the people and programs at Montana’s Credit Unions. What are we doing well? What can we do better? And, do you have ideas or suggestions for us?
Please take the time to chime in. We want to hear from more of you! Plus, this year everyone who finishes the survey has the chance to enter a drawing for one of two $50 gift cards.
Why your input matters
Our 2026 Engagement Survey for Volunteers is a (relatively) quick way for you to help shape our priorities, programs, and initiatives for 2027 and beyond. The survey should take about 10 minutes or so to complete, but it makes a big difference in how we support credit unions across the state. Your perspective as a credit union volunteer really matters! (Credit union employees should use this link instead.)
The survey will be open through July 14, and all responses are completely anonymous. Let Beth know if you have any questions or difficulty accessing or completing the survey.
