The new year is almost here and with it comes opportunities for training. If you are like me, you might have intentions to go to something, but if you don’t mark your calendar, it is easy to forget and end up with a conflict. We’ll have additional details as each event gets closer, so watch our Calendar of Events for more information.

  • MonDak CEO/Director Conference: Feb. 8 – 9, 2022 at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. This event includes your peers from the Dakotas, great speakers and sessions, and a wonderful chance to network while enjoying warm weather in February. Registration will be open Nov. 1, so stay tuned for details. Rumor has it that Ancin Cooley will be there!
  • CUNA’s GAC: Feb. 27 – Mar. 3, 2022 in Washington, D.C. The Credit Union National Association’s annual Governmental Affairs Conference returns to an in-person meeting after being virtual in 2021 due to COVID. It is a gathering of close to 5,000 credit union executives, board members, volunteers, and industry partners advocating for our industry. Helping our elected officials understand the unique benefits credit unions provide to our members is one of our most important tasks. We are putting together an agenda for Montana attendees that includes a luncheon followed by Hill visits with our congressional delegation. Register here and contact Karen for hotel room block details and with any questions.
  • Power Up: May 17 – 18, 2022 in Billings. The annual MCU convention is our premier event in Montana. We have fundraisers, educational sessions, networking time with peers, MCU staff, and vendor partners, but best of all — we get to honor the Professional of the Year and the Volunteer of the Year. If you’ve attended, you know why it is a worthwhile trip. If this will be your first one, it may just be an annual pilgrimage in your future!
