September 1, 2026 — Vocal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Dallas Rasmussen as its next President/CEO, effective October 1, 2026.

Rasmussen, a well-respected leader within the credit union, will take the helm with a commitment to strengthen the organization’s ability to serve its communities and members. Dan Rooney, Chair of Vocal’s Board of Directors, expressed the Board’s enthusiasm for Rasmussen’s appointment, stating,

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are excited about the selection of Dallas as the next President/CEO of Vocal Credit Union. Dallas has worked diligently to prepare for this new role the last 2 years. He has been on staff at Vocal since 2017 and his commitment to the members stood out. He has worked in the industry for more than 20 years and has proven operational expertise. We have the utmost confidence in Dallas’s ability to lead, develop, and grow the credit union into the future.”

With over two decades of industry experience, Rasmussen brings a wealth of knowledge and a collaborative leadership style to his new role. He has served Vocal Credit Union as the branch manager and more recently as Executive Vice President since 2017. Prior to his tenure at Vocal, Rasmussen was the branch manager for the Dutton State Bank in White Sulphur Springs after serving as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer for 1st Bank in Sidney, MT.

Rasmussen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana — Western, is a graduate of the School of Banking in Boulder, CO, and graduated from the Zealyst Forge CEO Readiness program. He is actively engaged in the community; he resides in White Sulphur Springs with his wife, Lacey, and their two college-aged children, Jessa and Trey, who both attend the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

“I am deeply honored and excited for the opportunity to lead Vocal Credit Union,” said Rasmussen. “I have seen firsthand how credit unions can positively impact their communities and serve their members. I am honored to continue Vocal’s strong foundation of service and look forward to working alongside the Board and our amazing and talented team.”

Rasmussen succeeds Edde Black, who is retiring after 16 years of dedicated service to Vocal Credit Union and its members. Black has served the credit union movement since 1994.
