Giving Time
- with -

Montana's Credit Unions

Last year, all of you gave a phenomenal 2,500 hours of your time to Montana in just 19 days. This year, with your help, we want to build on that success. We encourage CU staff, members, and friends to participate in a volunteer activity this October and log their hours here to help us reach the goal to give 3,000 hours of service to celebrate International Credit Union Day on October 18. Our hope is that these volunteering initiatives will help to engage local communities and spread awareness of the #CUDifference even further.

Park Side Credit Union - Habitat for Humanity

Park Side Credit Union - Habitat for Humanity
Flathead Valley, Montana

Park Side Credit Union will be sponsoring a build day with Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley on Wednesday, October 3rd.

Habitat for Humanity brings together volunteers and local businesses to help give local families a hand up and not a hand out by building safe and affordable housing. Park Side is passionate about giving back to the communities that sustain us, and this event is one way we can accomplish that. Park Side and its employees have participated in  2  build days already this year and look forward to sponsoring many more to come.

To join this volunteer event, contact Beth Musso at bmusso@parksidefcu.com or 406-892-6042. You can also call Habitat for Humanity directly at 406-257-8800×2, or sign up on the website: www.habitatflathead.org

Helena Food Share

Helena Food Share
Helena, Montana

Join us on Thursday, October 18, at Helena Food Share to help their staff assemble one of their largest (and most critical) mailings of the year.

This mailing solicits funds that will be used to purchase food for families in need through the holidays. They’ll be mailing out over 4,000 pieces to donors who, like all of us, don’t want to see anyone in our community without food. Helena Food Share not only relies on the generous time donated by volunteers, but on financial contributions to support their programs and services. By helping assemble this mailing, you are saving them a significant amount of money that can now be used to purchase more food!

Sign up for a 1-hour time slot (or more) so we have an idea of how many will be joining us. Time slots begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. We will be working at the Helena Food Share Warehouse, located at 1403 Oaks Street.
