Budget to Certify

October 31, 2018 7:30 am

CUNA’s Credit Union Board Certification School (formerly known as CUNA Volunteer Certification School) is now open for 2019 registration. The school continues to provide board members with valuable education and networking opportunities. It is scheduled May 6-10 in San Antonio, TX.

“This class was perfect size. It enabled volunteers to interact and bond with each other while learning and exchanging ideas with speakers during and after sessions. The material presented had substance that I can take back and share with our board rooms.” said former attendee Amy White, board member at Kerr County FCU in Texas.

“We’ve designed this school to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of board responsibilities,” said Maegan Monson, instructional design manager at CUNA. “While it’s especially useful for board members with less knowledge on credit union operations and board governance, attendees of all experience levels can gain critical insights from our expert speakers.”

Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn the Certified Credit Union Board Member designation with onsite exams, provided other prerequisites have been met. Make plans now to include this great opportunity in your 2019 board training budget.
