2010 MCUN Annual Convention

April 21-23, over 250 credit union professionals and vendors gathered in Great Falls for the Annual Convention. Below are photos taken from the three days. You'll see some from the Expo, from the Thursday Welcome and Education, the Awards Dinner, and the annual meetings, and CUAC raffle drawing. 2009 Montana Credit Union System Conference
Over 60 credit union professionals gathered in Helena in Fall 2009. Conference highlights included a Wii Tournament, which raised funds for MCUCD, a poverty simulation, an awards dinner celebrating the Healthy You! participants, and an update from Brad Miller (then ED of the Association of Corporate Credit Unions and former President/CEO of Montana's Treasure State Corporate Credit Union), on the  the corporate credit union system.  To take a quick look at some of the fun, click on Poverty Simulation or Wii Tournament to go to flickr.com slideshows with photos from each event.
2009 Annual Convention & Exposition
Over 200 credit union staff, volunteers, and exhibitors gathered for the Network's 2009 Annual Convention. The theme, "Credit Unions Steal the Show," made for a lot of fun with glamorous attendees strolling through movie-themed displays at the Expo on the convention's first night. Education on Thursday included NCUA Board member Gigi Hyland and CUNA Senior Economist Bill Hampel. The glitz culminated in a gala awards dinner. 2009 Herb Wegner Awards Dinner
In 2009, MCUCD received the 2009 Herb Wagner Award for Outstanding Organization. Click on the title to see photos from the National Credit Union Foundation's Herb Wegner Memorial Awards Dinner. The awards ceremony included a short tribute video for each of the four winners. The NCUF has posted the video it produced for Montana Credit Unions for Community Development on YouTube. 2009 GAC Hill Visits
Click on the title to view photos taken during the visits to the Hill on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. The morning started at 7:30 am wth a few brave souls heading to the "Montana Breakfast" held each Wednesday morning by Senators Baucus and Tester. The actual "Hill Visits" took place Wednesday afternoon. The delegation started with Congressman Rehberg then trooped past the National Archives, the Supreme Court, and Capitol to meet with Senators Tester and Baucus.
