Education

The Montana Credit Union Network offers a variety of education and training to help meet your credit union’s training goals and needs. Choose from conferences, workshops, webinars, telephone conferences, and self-study programs, all of which provide convenient, cost-effective training for staff, managers, and volunteers.

MCUCD Scholarships Available…Credit unions with less than $20 million in assets are eligible to apply for assistance for travel and registration to League-sponsored education events. Click here for a scholarship application.

CUNA Center for Professional Development… In life, there are two types of learning. We either learn about something – or we learn to do something. CUNA's Center for Professional Development (CPD) helps credit union staff and volunteers learn to do their jobs better. Our participants experience learning like never before. Check out all of the events – both onsite and online by going to the CPD site (link at right).

FREE Webinar on CDAs: Learn about a new way to support the National Credit Union Foundation and the Montana Credit Unions for Community Development efforts to improve people’s financial lives.  A new NCUA regulation allows the establishment of Charitable Donation Accounts (CDAs).  This new hybrid investment lets you make a big difference in an easy way and is a new option under the Community Investment Fund (CIF).  The webinar will explain how the CDA works and why you may want to consider utilizing the CDA to fund your charitable contributions.  This webinar will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 10 a.m. MDT.
