President/CEO

Posted July 27—Southwest Montana Community Federal Credit Union, a $94 million credit union headquartered in Anaconda and Butte, MT is seeking a new President/CEO. The CEO will be responsible for creating a short- and long-term strategic plan while maintaining and supporting the market it serves. This leader must be able to work effectively and efficiently with the Board of Directors to ensure the development of sound policies and the implementation of board directives and decisions and to safeguard the liquidity position and the financial and credit conditions of the institution. The successful candidate will direct and motivate the executive and managerial staff, and be responsible for the daily operational success of the credit union. This visionary must be influential in the financial marketplace, have a deep understanding of the credit union industry, have a strong ethical and moral compass, and have their finger on the pulse of the communities it serves. The successful candidate must possess extensive knowledge in managing a $50 million investment portfolio.

Preference will be given to candidates with credit union experience, including progressive management and a college degree. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Experience in branch management including site selection, opening new branches and assessing branch performance
