The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of professional banking or credit union experience, as well as 1-2 years professional experience with loan insurance and / or vendor management. Excellent customer service skills, organizational and communication skills, strong multitasking ability, and attention to detail required.


Credit Analyst -- Kalispell, MT

Posted July 25 -- Whitefish Credit Union, a $1.2+ billion credit union in beautiful northwest MT, seeks a Credit Analyst to join its commercial lending department. The successful candidate will provide accurate and prompt analysis for our Commercial Lenders. A minimum of one to two years of professional experience in Credit / Financial Analysis is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong mathematical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. A Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics or Business is preferred.


Accounts Payable Specialist -- Kalispell, MT

Posted July 21 -- Whitefish Credit Union, the largest credit union in Montana, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to process accounts payable, daily and monthly reconciliations, and other accounting transactions. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and perform a variety of day-to-day functions in an organized, efficient, and professional manner. An Associate’s degree in General Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred; as is a minimum of one to two years of similar or related experience.


Real Estate Loan Officer -- Missoula, MT

Posted July 19 -- Missoula Federal Credit Union is looking for an outgoing, service-oriented individual to join its team as a Real Estate Loan Officer. The qualifications for this position include 3 or more years of experience in home lending, the ability to communicate effectively and work within precise standardized guidelines, and excellent customer service and strong decision making skills. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of conventional and government loans, real estate law, and secondary market guidelnes. He or she will be a strong team player and have a proven record of effective networking and business development. 


Project Coordinator -- Kalispell, MT

Posted July 19 -- Whitefish Credit Union, the largest credit union in Montana, seeks a Project Coordinator to join its Project Management Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of an established team. One to two years professional experience with project management preferred, as is at least two years of Symitar, and Symitar reporting functions.


Internal Auditor -- Kalispell, MT

Posted July 11 -- Whitefish Credit Union, a $1.3+ billion credit union in beautiful northwest Montana, seeks an experienced Internal Auditor to perform financial and operational audits on all functions of the credit union. Responsibilities include determining whether internal controls provide adequate safeguards to ensure that financial accounts will stand up to outside scrutiny through stringent adherence to GAAP; determining if internal controls provide adequate safeguards to ensure all subsidiary ledgers have been reconciled to the general ledger; and reviewing, evaluating the risk of, and offering recommendations regarding Whitefish Credit Union’s investment portfolio. Requirements include: 3+ years of credit union experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; a broad knowledge of credit union or other financial institution operating areas, functions, products and services, and the laws and regulations which apply to credit unions; and knowledge of loan standards, and sufficient understanding to analyze the quality of loan decisions and related documentation (including commercial and mortgage loans). A CPA license is strongly preferred.


Consumer Quality Assurance Specialist -- Kalispell, MT

Posted July 11 -- Whitefish Credit Union the largest credit union in Montana, is looking for a Consumer Quality Assurance Specialist for its Credit Administration Department. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is highly organized, and has the ability to prioritize work and juggle multiple simultaneous projects. An Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or banking, and / or 1-2 years of professional experience with accounting or lending procedures, are preferred.


Mortgage Loan Closer -- Kalispell, MT

Posted May 23-- Whitefish Credit Union, the largest credit union in Montana, seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Closer for its credit administration department. This position is responsible for processing closing disclosures and closing documents for real estate loans, according to regulation and Whitefish Credit Union policy. The ability to communicate effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills, and excellent member service skills are required. One to two years of professional experience with accounting or lending procedures is preferred.


Mortgage Loan processor-- Kalispell, MT

Posted May 23-- Whitefish Credit Union, the largest credit union in Montana, is looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor for its credit administration department. This position is responsible for processing early disclosures and re-disclosures for real estate loans, according to regulation and Whitefish Credit Union policy. The ability to communicate effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills, and excellent member service skills, are required. One to two years of professional experience with accounting or lending procedures is preferred.
