Spreading the word about credit unions in Montana and making sure that policy makers and regulators know the benefits that Montana credit unions offer and the work that Montana credit unions do in their communities is central

Advocacy and action go hand in-hand in the credit union movement. We are actively working to build and strengthen relationships among state and federal policy makers, regulators, consumer groups, and credit unions. The Network strives to coordinate a variety of events and practices that help amplify the voice of credit union philosophy and principles and increase the visibility of credit unions.

Montana’s credit unions participate in a number of regular programs that further credit union advocacy at both the state and national levels.
